1 Week until Vegas
Hi, I am heading to Vegas on Sun. Apr. 1 until Apr. 5. I have used the tournment listings on this site to make my personal agenda of what tourney's I would be playing in. GREAT SITE!!! Loaded with info.
I will be playing at least 2 tourney a day with some 1/2NL thrown in to past the time.
My question is, seeing as the final of March Madness will be on Monday night Apr. 2, can someone please tell me how busy the casino's will be?
Should I register really early for tourney's that evening? Just play 1/2NL because of the increase of people that will be in the casino that evening?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I log into this site everyday to read about the adventures in Vegas that you all have taken part in.
This is my 4 visit to vegas in the last 2 years, and

Hi Antnee, welcome to AVP. Glad to hear you're finding it helpful.
The busiest March Madness days are behind us. Lots of people come to town to watch and bet on "their team" in the beginning of the tournament, but by the time the final comes around, there are not really that many hoops nuts here (relatively speaking of course).
That said, you should still plan to buy-in for your tournaments as early as possible. Poker tournaments DO sell out (it just happened to me last week at Sahara).

I am also one week away from Vegas. Next week im on the plane sleeping and/or crunkcing numbers and working my playbook.
This site has been a great resource for me planning my trip (1st trip to VEGAS as an adult) and I am spreading the word to local degenarates who go to Vegas.
I do want to ask since it was brought up, lets say Im playing at the Sahara 7pm tourney. How far in advance may I register for the tourny?
I dont want to wait long in line or be there last minute and get bumped.
Hello Biz,
To be completely safe, you will want to register before 6:30 (6 if possible). At around 6:35-6:45 the line gets long.
You can register as early as 3-4, but it is not necessary.
Thank you for spreading the word about this site. This site relies on word of mouth (and google searches) to get the word out, and we appreciate you assisting.
No doubt, there arent many niche and non-biased sources such as this one around that are reliable. But this site is special and wish it much success.
One other question, where could I find a MTT under $100 which is going to have the most amount of players. (200+)

Tough one. On the weekend, maybe, but on a wednesday, you are not going to find a 200+ tourney period that I am aware of.
Your best bet will be Sahara 7PM, which might break 100. Caesars will be about 80-100 maybe (possibly lower).
Binions might be an option, but it will probably also be close to 100+, but not 200+
