2/4ing A Long Weekend In Vegas

We are from the Northeast and play at Foxwoods and on line.

In planning our trip to Las Vegas, we researched the rooms on this site first, overlapped them with our other plans and then proceeded to tour and play.

Our favorite rooms were the MGM and Binions for two different reasons. The MGM was the best of the newer rooms. It was friendly, efficient and made simple by technology. The players were your average 2/4 lot of mostly tourists. Binions was that great joint you love to go to like the local bar for a beer or dinner for scrambled eggs and home fries.

Green Valley Ranch probably comes in next on our list. It was the Wynn for working people. The atmosphere and people were all top notch. The rooms, decorations and tone were wonderful. You know you are in a class place when you overhear one dealer saying to another one (who was getting a bit cranky about something) to 'remember which casino you are in.'

Luxor and Mandalay Bay were nice, but nothing extra special.

Paris was dark and felt a bit dingy. Someone at the table was complaining about loosing a straight flush jackpot because, while everyone at the table agreed she had it, the camera could not verify the suits of the cards.

Excalibur was awful. Dealer mistakes cost us. We often had to wait for a table. The buffet for players is gone (or at least was not there when we were).
