Sun. 3rd played in the poker room at Bally's for a few hours, just to get back into the swing of things. That evening i decided to go downtown to the Golden Nugget, they have a very nice poker room lots of low limit action. I played in there Sun. evening tourney 44 players, rebuys & add-ons made the pot pretty nice, winner got around $3,900 payed 7 spots.

The Bellagio what more can one say, awesome Allen Feiner was the man I delt with the most & he truly is a first class gentleman for sure he did a great job of keeping things moving! His staff as a whole were very professional.

Mon. 4th satellites started for the 1st event of the 5 star tourneys to be held on the Tues. 5th @ noon. Wow got lucky & won the 1st satellite I played in so i'm in the 1st event. Played for cash in another satellite and came in 3rd. Mon. afternoon satellites started for the Super satellite that evening for the main event on the 18th, 10 person table & 2 seats awarded & I got one of those seats. So far i'm 2 for 3 on the day, I'm one happy camper. Well the super started @ 7pm & didn't do to aweful bad considering the cards I was catching, made it through 1 & 1/2 levels moved all in with AK s & got called with a pp of 5's but couldn't improve & was out. Was a good experience, 1st super satellite, I had played in.
Tues. 5th noon 1st event 469 players, I made it to 150th before I got knocked out. Couldn't seem to catch the cards, was very tough, the eventual tourney winner & 5th place was at my table along with Marcel Luske for the first 2 1/2 hours, very tough indeed.
Wed. 6th played in several satellites to try & get into that days events, but wasn't ment to be lots of 2nds, 3rds & so on, gained lots of experience. 1st table we all put up an additional $200 each, for 2nd place finisher, I Split $2,000 with another guy who was neck & neck with me in 3rd so we each got $1,000 each, not to bad, allowed me to play in some other satellites on other peoples money. As the day went on a friend pointed out that he thought I was getting worn out by the constant pressure. So I decided to get away from it for the rest of the day.
Thurs. 7th won the 1st satellite that i got in that day, by surviving a marathon with another gentleman, we drove the blinds up to 2 & 4K before I finely won. Wow, love the competition. The 3rd event started a little late due to comp. problems, we got started around 1pm. 263 started and i made it to 108th before getting beat by eventual 2nd place finisher Can Hua. I flop 2 pair, A's & J's on the flop got beat by his set of J's, couldn't catch A on turn or River to improve. Hey man that's poker.
What a wonderful setting to play in, the Fontanna Bar over looking the water foutain at Bellagio. Was a very nice experience & can not wait to return. The dealers were excellant, & very professional, the cocktail girls were the best in town.

The trip was very enjoyable and I had lots of fun, it was one of the nicest vacations I have had.
