My wife and I headed to Vegas for three days of fun away from the kids and family. We stayed at the Flamingo, which is a great place to stay for price and location. We arrived Saturday morning at 10 oclock and were going to easy into our vaction. After checking in, we ate lunch at Caesers Palace and came across the poker room. This is one awesome poker room, and I had to start playing. I ended up playing for 13 hours mainly 1-2 no limit...there were some good players and some real bad players. I saw a lady call this guys hand then lose $300 to him..."I think you have the flush, and I think you know I have the straight"...she re-raised all-in..he called and she was surprise to find out a flush beats a staright. Caesers poker staff was great. The dealers were above average, floor people were execellent, and the wait staff was fast and "easy on the eyes" until later in the night when the older staff members pulled rank. I played in two tourney at Caesers..one at 11pm it was OK nothing real great about it, but the noon tourney is the best in Vagas. More play for the buck. If you like tourneys and your in Vegas, this is a must. I played Stud at the Mirage the next day, I enjoyed the Mirage Poker room. Fun dealers, great floor, and excellent wait staff. The agerage age at the stud table had to be 65 years old. Three player s rolled up in motorized scooters. The last night I played at the Flamingo, this room isn't that great, but if you want crazy drunkin 2-4 limit..this is your place. I love Caesers Poker room and can't wait to get back. foley10
