We went 1/14 1/18. Our goal of this trip was to mainly play poker and gamble at other various tables. No drinking or sightseeing this time as we have been here before. There was 3 of us.
First Day we get there at 9 AM (after staying up all night at a wedding reception the night before we left) and there is no room for us. Luckily the Bears game was on, but we weren't in the right mindset to be making decisions yet. Eventually we got our room took a nap and headed over to the Sahara for thier 7 PM tourney. This tournament was great, althought theres lots of people so you gotta be pretty tight for the first couple rounds. They payout was great. I made it to the final table and we chopped with 8 people left(2 short stacks took less) for $800 a piece(my friend also was one of the poeple who cashed) My other buddy was knocked out early adn ended up sitting in on a 1/2NL that the manager was sitting in on....and he totally sucked out so my friend hates that guy now :). All in all, it was a good first day.

The next day we slept till about 10, got some food and played the stratosphere 1 PM. They changed all thier tourneys to be $55 buy in with no rebuy/addon. I liked this tourney, its cheap, theres less people although the payour sucks. I amde it to the final table but lost on the bubble. My friend took 3rd.

The rest of the trip I "forgot" about. Needless to say we didn'y win anymore and ended up about $300 down for the entire trip(of course that include all spending money so well worth it!)

Next time I'd like to hit up the noon Caesars or Venetian...
