Here's what's happening at all the Nevada online poker sites for the week ending 02/09!
In Nevada, WSOP-com runs a $15,000 Weekly Sunday Guarantee. Last Sunday there were 103 players, which is a pretty massive jump from 63 the week before. The constantly-running live WSOP satellites seem to be spilling over into the regular guaranteed events. The buy-in was $200 + $15, so this event beat the guarantee by a big $5,600. The winner was butters, who got $5,768. tahoescotty7, last week's winner, did not play this week. Regular Kathy "pokerkat" Liebert cashed this week in 19th.
Satellites are already running at WSOP-com in both New Jersey and Nevada for this summer's live World Series of Poker events, happening in just a few short months.
Ultimate Poker runs a $10,000 Guarantee in Nevada. Last week's event got 117 players, a nice raise from the Super Bowl week before, which had 84 players. With a buy-in of $91 + $9, this beat the guarantee by $647. DrMcBoy won this time, and earned $3,093.67.
Player Numbers
On WSOP-com in Nevada, according to PokerScout, the numbers continue to drop slightly, though that is expected to change as more live WSOP satellites get underway. The numbers for Ultimate Poker in Nevada, however, seem to be going up, meaning the player population on both sites is roughly even.
