There are very few casinos that ever run sit & gos. You will often find them as satellites to higher buy-in multi-table tournaments during bigger poker series (e.g., WSOP, WSOP Circuit Events, and WPT). But, otherwise, casinos just don't run them. In a live setting, it just doesn't make sense to have an extra dealer waiting around on the clock for 9 or 10 players that want to play a sit and go at the same time. Even during events like the Venetian Deepstack tournament series, I've seen lists of 3 or 4 players for a sit & go that will be on the board for several hours before they even get enough interest (usually 6 players for a 9 player sit & go) to "call" the event and try and get the last few sign ups. So, on a regular basis, I doubt that there are any live sit & gos in Northern California.
