I've been coming to Amarillo Social club for almost 2 years and I can confidently say it's the best club in the Texas Panhandle.
Friendly staff, always quick with a joke and a smile. The regular players are all great to play with and welcoming to newcomers. Tournaments are ran efficiently and with quality structure and timing. They host both regular NLH and Big-O tournaments. They have rebuy, re-entry, and sit N go tournaments offered. Cash games for NLH can be hit or miss on the weekdays, but it's to be expected in the area. Big-O cash games are some of the biggest I've seen personally. Lots of rotating faces in the cash games, and I've yet to find a NIT on the cash tables.
All around a great place to come and play poker. Whether you're new to the game or a seasoned veteran, Amarillo Social Club will treat you right.
