It has been 10+ years since I was there prior, and I was not sure if I'd have a good time or not. For me it all depends on the players and dealers. I'm a low level player, but I know the game and like the social mind play. Although there were 3 sharks at my table, I felt them to be friendly. They were NOT just "headphone/hoody" wearing jackasses. There was one situation when I tabled my hand with a small pair and broken straight draw. Woman mucked her hand. Then once she realized I did not have a straight wanted her cards back. Dealer said no (as he should have). I know some places may allow this especially against a tourist like myself, but THANK-YOU Ameristar for following the rules. I had a great time.
