Loved everything about the room, from the location, to the noise level, to the table spacing, you name it. Only gripe were the tables themselves, which had some minor issues (cards can slide under the cushioning depending on where you sit). Otherwise, always felt comfortable in the chairs and never felt squeezed.
Everyone's thoughts about competition obviously varies, but I can only compare it to other rooms I play at in the <$200 tournament range. Played the 1pm tourney twice, and the first day's competition was much better than the second time around. It was far and away harded than those silly $50 turbo tourneys found all across the strip, but much easier than any serious tourneys that were going on in town. Took 1st in the 2nd tourney I played, and the top 2 other players were solid.
Some of the best dealers around when it comes to skills. Most were friendly, though I've seen some other joke it up more often, which may actually be a negative for some people. Floor was never called at my table, after about 14 hours of play over 2 days. Very professional.
Some of the best looking waitresses around, in classy outfits. Service was mostly good, but could have been better at times. Other times girls were just waiting around for orders because everyone was so taken care of. Fiji water is served, and Red Bull is served in a glass (no can).
Above all else, the management here really shined. I really, really wish I remembered her name, but the blond woman who was working the floor when I was there was off the charts. I made it a point to tell her she's the best one I've come across in all my trips to Vegas. There was also a younger guy Patrick who was cool under pressure and kept things flowing. If you cash in a tourney, floor staff are tipped separately, so try to help them out.
I'll give average when I should give bad, as there are no high hand jackpots, and I am unaware of any comps. I am sure it's the standard $1/hour, but all I did was tourneys, so that doesn't qualify. I don't want to bring the rooms overall rating down that much, however, as neither of these factored into my enjoyment of playing here.
