I played several cash game sessions in December after the room opened, and several more cash game sessions and a tourney during two trips in March. The room is well-located within the casino (by the entrance from the tram), separated from the casino but open to walk-by traffic. Tables are good, chairs are as good as you'll find. In terms of layout, appearance, and ambience, Aria is one of the elite rooms (along with Venetian, Wynn, and Bellagio).
You'll find a mix of all types of players here, frombad players to local sharks looking to feed on them. If you don't like your table, a table change is generally easy to arrange.
Most of the dealers are excellent, though I ran into a few who seemed uninterested in being there. A few occasional dealing errors (including a horrendous call by a dealer of a check while I was cutting chips).
Most top shelf booze is available, as are green tea, cappucino, and other non-standard booze-free drinks.
Management does a nice job starting cash games, trying to get non-Hold 'Em games running, and running the tourneys. Very friendly overall.
Until June 1, they are running a comp special of $2/hour, $3/hour during certain morning hours. Normal comps are $1-$1.50/hour, depending on your game. Only downside is that comps must be used at certain Aria places, which tend to be overproced. No jackpot drop, which I prefer.
