There are many poker rooms in Black Hawk, CO but there are 2 that are much larger than the others. The first is Ameristar and the other is Golden Gates. The room started off nice with the elevator from the parking garage bringing me directly into the poker room, right next to the main poker desk. The decor is very dated and the color is a darker burgundy/ brownish color that I personally didn't like. The tables and chairs also need an update. The drink service was great and the dealers were good. As far as the competition and traffic (sunday night) of the poker room, the 3 stars sum it up. 2 of 20+ tables running with most players playing ATC. Not the worst room I've been to but far from the best.
