It's a world class venue in terms of quality of furniture and fixtures, etc. The tables are packed in tight which makes it hard for the drink ladies to get around and more than once I bumped chairs with someone behind me at another table. I found the chairs to be comfortable and adjustable. I got there at 6:30 PM on a Wednesday and got right in but by 8:30 there was a 30-minute wait to get a table. That night, there was a session of "the game" going with Doyle, Jennifer Harman, Eliza and Perry (British pro) so it was cool to be able to see them playing. "The game" is played in a secured room separate from the main poker room but the walls are mostly glass so you can get up from your table to gawk if you want to. I also played at 10:30 AM on a Thursday and only had to wait 5 minutes for a spot at one of the two games going.
I was playing $1/$2 NL. Over the two days and 9 total hours I played I think 80% of the players I played against could be classified as tourists looking to play a little cards. My evening session table tended to be tighter with smaller PF raises in the $6 to $10 range mostly while my morning session tended to be looser with PF raises mostly being at $12 to $20. However, there were lots of limped pots in both sessions, allowing you to play speculative hands for cheap.
Only 1 misdeal in 9 hours. Very nice dealers.
Good looking but they only had 2 working the entire room when the room was packed. Took forever to get served.
No problems.
Don't know about comps and from what I can tell there weren't any jackpots.
