Bellagio cannot and will not receive an Excellent rating from me until they relax the crowded conditions in this room. Tables are, simply, too close together.
All depends on the time of day. Many grizzled locals here until sundown, when the tables tend to loosen up.
This is Bellagio's strong point. Dealers here are overall the best of any room in Las Vegas. The men seem more efficient than the women. As a class, these dealers know the game.
Demerits to Bellagio for the slow drink service, which is exacerbated by the jammed nature of the tables stacked like cordwood.
Bellagio stubbornly refuses to join the 21st century and provide a computer-based list system; and there is more yelling of open seats (often unheard) than in any 5 other rooms in Las Vegas. Ralph is warm, friendly and conversational despite all the noise and crowds; Jerome is cold, abrupt, makes little eye contact and is obviously focused on the functions of the job rather than the essence of his job (communicating and building relationships).
