I liked the ambience of the room and the comfort of the chairs. I disliked the continual bumping of my chair everytime someone walked by the table. I was sqeezing right into the table for the most part and I am not a heavy person or have a beer belly.
I was lucky to have a maniac at the table with deep pockets who was not sucking out very much. I had pocket aces and made it $120 on top of a $20 raise (2-5NL) and he goes all in for $800 with 66. Thanks pal. Half the table were of average ability and a couple of solid players. I feel I am in between those.
Dealers were good and efficient. Kept the game going. I always have a beef with dealers who watch a player show their cards to another player and then just muck's them. I ask if there is a show one - show all rule and they say yes, so why do I have to ask to see them? It usually irks the guy showing the cards and then he gets an attitude which makes for an uncomfortable atmosphere but if she/he would just show the table the cards when it happens it is usually over. I mean if its a rule then enforce it.
Waitress was hot and quick with drinks.
Not a very friendly front desk. No hello or can I help you type greeting. Just a toothpick in the mouth and a stare waiting for you to tell them what you want to play. Was very surprised there was no electronic board.
I asked about a comp and was told to go to the desk and they would give a $15 voucher but I decided to just go and get something to eat. I am usually not interested in poker room comps so will give an average rating.
