Great Room for mid limit players

I consider this to be as nice as any poker room in Vegas. The tables are great, there are plasma tvs everywhere, and the chairs are very nice. It is a bit cramped though, and occasionally hard to move around. But if you are just sitting at the table, it's not a problem.

I only played 4-8 and 8-16, but at those games I foudn the competition to be very easy. It was basically 8 guys who would be in a flop every time and call down to the river showing stuff like 2 par jacks and sevens. There was one pro at the table, but he just played tight so he was rarely a factor in these gigantic pots. As long as you don't get mad when people draw out on you, cause they will there, you can make a lot of money. Seems like most of the 8-16 players were rich guys who were trying out poker after playing all their standard games.

Dealers were very friendly, usually thanked me for a tip and were happy to talk about what pros were in the room and what big games were going on. As everyone else said, they make very few mistakes.

The cocktail service for me was fine. Very nice and pretty waitresses who brought me more drinks than I needed.

Management was friendly. Obviously they have enough high rollers that they won't bow down to their 8-16 players but they were happy to help me out with their poker room rates.

The only comp I found out about is their poker room rate which is $129 a night sun-thrus and 199 friday and saturday. The first time you stay under the rate, they track your room to make sure you play an average of 6 hours a day. If you're with someone then you each just have to play 3 hours a day. If you're gonna play anyway, then it saves you probably at least $70 a night. After your first stay they don't track you anymore, they just assume that you will play.
