What more can be said? I loved the atmosphere of the room, from the photographs on the walls to the plasma TVs to the aura of Bobby's room, even though it was empty while I was there. A must-see room for anyone on his first Vegas poker trip.
The players at my 4/8 table (I was too underfunded to play any higher limit games or NL) were almost all experienced. One lady sat down and announced she'd never played before, but she was the exception. One of the dealers (Sky) joined us after finishing his shift. I'd characterize him as mildly LAG, but he was a fun addition to the table. The 4/8 game started off tight, then loosened up when a few people waiting for the 15/30 showed up.
All the dealers at my table were efficient and personable. One missed a couple bets and raises, but quickly corrected the action before any problems could result.
All the waitresses that served me ranged from cute to drop-dead gorgeous. The service was quick and the drinks were top-quality. My Corona was ice-cold, my bloody marys were perfect and the strawberry juliuses almost had me switching from booze.
I played during the morning, and the room had only 3-4 tables going, so maybe I avoided the hostility and condescension of which others have complained. But I was greeted warmly by the floorman (even as a lowly 4/8 player) and seated promptly. Afterward, he dropped by the table occasionally, joking with players and commenting on hands. No complaints from me.
