Nice room with lots of tables. I arrived in the morning (about 10:00 ish) and they had a couple of tables going already. I started out very excited to play there. Then everything fell apart. I had to wait for the floor manager to come to the podium to help me. He was very rude when I asked what kind of NL game they spread. I guess I was suppose to know this before I interrupted his valuable time. What a jerk.
This was a very tough and intimidating table. I was at the $2/5 NL and you are only allowed to buy in for $200.00 max. Of course I sit next to an internet psycho on my right who had been playing for 15 hours straight and had amassed $2000.00 in chips. He straddled all of my big blinds and I only had 2 plays against him. Fold or go All-in and take my chances. There was no way I could raise him out of a pot. He was taking everyone down. I ran through 2 buy-ins and got out of there.
Dealers were friendly and nice. Kept the game moving and I didn't notice anything flawed about their dealing. In fact, they were the nicest staff of the whole room.
Cocktail waitress was non-existant at 10:00am. No coffee, no tea, no soda, NOTHING. I finally had to leave the table and go to the bar to order a cup of coffee (which I paid for). This is not what I expected at the Bellagio.
I thought the floor manager was rude, obnoxious and arrogant. He basically was belittling to me when I asked about the types of game they spread and what the buy-in amounts were. I was very disappointed with this room. Not a good place to go for us regular folks.
I didn't stay long enough to find out. The fact that I had to get up and get my own coffee pretty much spelled it out for me. If your not a high-roller...don't bother.
