I finally played in this room. It was a little tight, but overall I like the room. I played a few times right in front of what I guess is the Doyle room or the high roller room. That room is nice, and overall this is a good room.
A lot of players who were playing at either the Mirage WPT events or Casaers WSOP circuit events played here. They were good players for the most part, the problem was some of the others who would call just about anything. No strategy on there part and if they caught the cards, which seem to happen here they won. I question if this would have happen if the Beliago allowed you to buy-in at say $500 on the 2/5 NL instead of $200 (Which they are extremely strick on- meaning if you had $125 on the table and asked for another $100- YOU MUST PULL $25 OFF THE TABLE)- The rules are followed here. Too much luck seemed to by involved in building some of the stacks. Needless to say this was the room I lost money compaed to the others which I won.
Good dealers- possibly the best thing in the room. I believe I had Mike Matasuw's brother dealing for me at one point. These dealers knew what they were doing and were a good group. They might be the best on the strip.
They were fairly quick (A touch slower than in some of the other rooms which I played) and above average looking.
I thought they did a good job. I got my chips quickly and were fairly quick in getting new players into the game. I only wish they had a TV screen for the waiting list. I felt like I had to keep checking the written list to see where my name fell.
I believe they are standard.
