Big Room, A Lot of Tables, Mostly Low Stakes

I would definitely rate this room as above average in Las Vegas, but it is definitely outclassed by the Wynn & Bellagio. The room is enormous for Las Vegas standards, and the extra tournament room would be great for tournaments. The room was clean and in good condition. The room had a lot of activity, but I would not classify it as a place where you get a high energy feeling. This could be because it's pretty quiet (the room is far away from anything else in the casino, since you have to walk through a short hall to get to it) and the tables are well spread out (more so than the Wynn & Bellagio). The tables also currently have incorrectly drawn muck lines (too close to the edge), but these are supposedly going to get fixed soon. The tournament tables seemed to have proper muck lines.

I decided to break with my normal no limit game, and play 3/6 limit instead. As one might expect, the game was quite loose. It began passive, and then became more aggressive. There were a few people who knew about pot odds and clearly had a lot of experience, though more than half the table seemed pretty green. While a streak of bad cards kept me from winning much on the night, it could have been profitable. On a side note, the table was rather boring to play at.

The room mostly had low limit games going, though they did eventually start up a 10/20 NL game, and a 20/40 limit game.

Overall, the dealers were good. Most seemed to have dealing experience. One relatively young dealer had difficulty figuring out the best hand a few times, but most of the dealers were fast and efficient. There were no major mistakes.

While I didn't order anything, the people ordering drinks seemed to get fast and efficient service.

The management seemed very good. They filled seats pretty quickly, and the waitlist seemed to be managed quite well.

I am not aware of what Caesars is offering at this time.
