Great Big Room w/ Lots of Action

The quality of the room was great. Plenty of tables and limits anytime. Great sign up board to see where you are if you have to wait. There was never any time waiting around for a cash game. This new room also has a side tournament room. It has something for everyone. They have this great $60 sit n go all of the time that pays to the top 3. Well done.

I played the 6-12 mostly and there were still plenty of callers. No one at these stakes were inexperienced, however there were plenty of calling stations that called Ax anytime. More often than not, I won with A-better kicker when an A flopped. There were plenty of callers for 2nd pair, so be careful that 2nd pair doesn't show up on 4th or 5th street.

There were virtually no screw ups during the cash games, but other dealers in the tournaments were lower on the totem pole and less experienced. Overall they have a seasoned staff that came from other casinos. Most of the dealers were knowledgeable and understood how to keep track of side pots. There was a mix of a couple of jerks, but mostly were friendly and accomodating.

I hate to critisize but the cocktail had 3 strikes in my book. Unattractive, slow and not enough. I can deal with slow if they are hot, but need great service if they are not. This room had neither. I couldn't figure out why they had 2 waitresses for a full room of 45 tables going.

This room had seasoned managers that seemed to really care that one had a great experience and were friendly. They got you to your seat quickly with no foul ups. Great plasma board to track yourself. All questions were answered with no problem. Great cash out area too.

I got a reduced rate on the room that really worked with 8/hrs of play per day. $119 for Sun-Th and $199 for Friday and Saturday. $1/hr for comps anywhere and they bring your food to you. There was zero jack pots unfortunately.
