the house rake for the event is posted on the wall and at the room at $2.00, and the player promo drop is $5.00 that equals 7. You are correct that the posted the house rake and charity is $2.00.
The other 5 dollars dropped is going back in into the player promotion pool for days just like today.
The drop is based on the average of the total day rake, then multiply by the percentage of house rake/promo drop... At the end of the night, its simple math to calculate.
