My recent visit to Cypress Poker left me more frustrated than satisfied, all thanks to their exorbitant rake structure that seems designed to suck the joy out of playing poker.
The amount of money being taken out of each pot was nothing short of outrageous. It felt like every time I won a decent hand, the house was quick to swoop in and claim a $17 out of $76 Pot significant chunk of my hard-earned winnings. The rake at Cypress Poker is not just a fee; it's a highway robbery, and players are left wondering if they're in a poker room or an ATM for the casino.
I understand that poker rooms need to cover their operating costs, but the rake at Cypress Poker is beyond reasonable. It's evident that their focus is on maximizing profit at the expense of player satisfaction.
