I have gone to Daytona Beach Poker Room over the last 5 years and just find it to be okay. The room is very dull. Walking into the room, bland walls and grey carpets. A decent amount of games going, but generally just lower limit nl hold em. Playing in tournaments is a headache. Generally quick levels in tournaments and some of the dealers are not the quickest at dealing. Cash games are blah, decent promotions, but mostly regs who don't talk or interact. A lot of hit and runners.
The pros:
-Closest card room to Orlando.
- Decent promotions
- Runs HPT and PPA events
- Lot of poker pros brought in for featured events sponsored for the specific pro
The bad:
- Full of regs
- Tournaments are just shoving matches
- Impossible to get a drink, even with tipping every time you get a drink
If you have a choice skip Daytona and head to Tampa if your stuck in Orlando and want to play cards
