Derby Lane Poker Room

All this place cares about is making money and the idiots who run this room don't even have a clue about how to run a poker room! If I ran this card room, I would fire half the people in this place. They used to have good promotions, now a good portion of the time, if you get a high hand, you receive nothing. There aren't even any comps like players cards with points for the players. Now they are cheating the players. On Friday and Saturday, they are supposed to give away $15000 in high hand promotions for the day and they are ending the promotion early, only paying out about only $12000-$13000. One player was so irate that he yelled at Wayne-floor manager and Wayne threatened to kick him out.
Most of the floor managers have bad attitudes. One in particular-AJ is very nasty person! He is a very ugly person inside & out, has no looks, no brains, horrible attitude, no personality and no values. Someone talked backed to him about an issue and he threatened to kick the person out for just voicing their opinion! All of the players hate him. I don't even know why this guy even has a job in the first place.
A couple of cocktail waitresses have awful attitudes too. Maria and Rose give bad service and have terrible attitudes. I hear that they make $500 per night and still can't do their jobs right.
About a third of the dealers are horrible. JJ, Witka, Paul, Sun, Ernest and Danny all have terrible attitudes and they are very slow at dealing out the cards. They also gossip about players and act very unprofessionally. All they care about is getting the biggest tip possible and they even suggest to players what the proper tip should be.
Most of the brushes of completely brainless. Seat cards sit on the table and they walk by oblivious to picking them up. They also make mistakes when announcing the high hand. There should be some kind of display showing what the current high hand is, but of course there isn't.
The players are awful too. About half of the players are complete imbeciles. One tries to play good solid poker and some idiot makes a stupid play and hits the miracle to beat you. You get the lowest common denominator of the human race in here. About 20% of the people are drug dealers and drug addicts. You don't want to bring your wife and kids here!
There don't even know how to fill tables on busy days. I've seen on a busy Sunday where they were short of dealers and there was 60 people on the waiting list! Even the premises aren't kept up. Almost every day there is a broken toilet leaking all over the floor in the restrooms. One time a few months ago, there was a big hole in the wall right in the card room with nasty smells coming from there.
If they don't improve the issues here, I'll quit playing poker here. If you want a good time or entertainment, then avoid this place! If you like dealing with scumbags, incompetent employees and drunk idiots, then this place is for you.
