I just left Ebro Poker. It was my first visit and should I ever be in the area again I will be returning. I was looking for a place to play some poker while I was traveling through the Florida panhandle. I read the reviews and several provided serious criticism of Ebro. I thought I’d check it out anyway. I was greeted by friendly management who were happy to answer any questions including suggesting the nearby inexpensive motel as a decent place to stay (clean). The dealers, wait staff, additional employees were all friendly and great to talk to. The players were also friendly and engaged in conversation. The competition was very good. I played for about 5 hours and not one incident, not one rude comment, not one sloppily drunk patron occurred. It should be noted that Ebro hires off duty police who provide security. I think they focus on the parking lot.
I ate there and had the grilled shrimp basket with fries and tartar sauce. It was excellent. The non alcoholic drinks I had were cheaper than a convenience store.
