Every time I've visited, be it midweek, Sat nite, whatever, the drink service is non-existent until well after midnight, which is weird, because the room is just as busy at that time.
A nice casino poker room like this just outside Boston should be a magnet for fish/action players/gamblers, as it's easier to just go to Encore on a whim, to blow off steam after work, or college, etc. Problem is, every grinder in the region knows it and is on the case. I haven't been back to the CT rooms since Encore opened, I do wonder how Encore has effected their mix of players.
The food is good, expensive but not as bad as you might fear given the general expensiveness of the casino.
Dealers are largely recruited from other casinos, so they're alright.
Comps - $1 per hour regardless of table takes. And for the life of them they haven't yet figured out how to link the simplest-calculated points into the overall comp system so for now you can't use or even check your points balance, they can't even tell you what it is....
