Why are we protecting dealers that break the rules?
Why is Poker Atlas looking for any way possible to delete negative reviews?
I just don't understand why players treat dealers like some fragile, endangered species. It doesn't make any sense.
Poker dealers at Encore are making $50 plus dollars an hour mostly from us $1/$3 players. In contrast, the average winning $1/$3 player is making $13hr. Service needs to be top notch. Anything less makes the culture predatory.
They gossip about players, and show dissatisfaction when a player tips anything less than 10% on a high hand for which they did not contribute . That's our money.
They'll even walk over to your table and solicit a tip for promos. They should indeed be fired for this behavior.
If you're a player who is okay losing money, that's fine, but don't berate players who are trying to hold employees accountable.
As it's us players paying dealers' mortgages, and feeding their families, it's our right to report them when we aren't happy with their service.
Leaving a comment bashing another player is the same as a player leaving a comment on poor service by a dealer.
Dealers are not your friends. They don't care how much money you lose. Do they pull you aside after watching you lose multiple buy-ins, and say, "Don't worry about tipping me for the next few sessions. I have my regular customers. I'll be just fine." "You've been tipping me for years, you deserve a break to protect your win rate."
