If you just want to play holdem (1-2, 5-5), holdem with bomb pots of omaha variants, or tournaments (2 daily, $40, rebuys etc - 20k guarantee monthly) this is a good place. I'm a regular Joe who enjoys the game and the games here are fun too. Anything can be sketchy, if your not taking care. Final table is in a well lit heavily trafficked main intersection so unless you walk around flashing money with stopid tattooed on your forehead there's nothing to worry about. Sure someone inside could eye you but there's a $20 a day fee (yeah, it's ok, no drop) so undesirables and non players are left outside.
Small grill inside with food and drinks. I've found most people to be friendly and have yet to encounter an issue here.
If you like this short but info heavy description I'll do the same for the other Portland holdem clubs as I visit them. This is the only one so far.
