It's LazerTron time! Glad I found Poker Atlas - great site and keep up the good work!
I travel all over the circuit and recently was up at Firekeepers. It's in a pretty convenient location and I heard I should check it out.
First, the room is a little small. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing but I wish it was a little more open. It's right next to all the slots but enclosed enough it doesn't bug you. On the weekends it's a little nuts getting past all the slots goofballs to the drink machines (which are awesome they're there!)
Play was solid. Definitely some weak spots but I had a good time. Decent spread of games and tourney was good when I played it.
Food selection was good but was spread out. The casino is way bigger than you expect so be ready to walk a little bit to grab some grub.
The best part about this casino was the staff. Been to a lot of rooms and the people that run it were some of the nicest and most courteous people you'll ever meet. They took a lot of pride in what they were doing - almost as much as what yours truly puts into his poker game!
I hope they can expand because I think people will really enjoy this room if they go. Play well and shoot straight, everyone!!!!
