Elegant room, especially for a downtown casino. To me, it feels like a smaller Bellagio. Good vibes, and close to the pit games for people to stroll on over to the poker tables.
A good mix of average players and tough competition.
I felt like 6 out of the 7 dealers i saw were excellent. Mike was especially professional. However, a few of the dealers let one player continuously curse without saying anything to him, and i could tell that it bothered a few of the players at the table.
Fairly attractive waitresses and very speedy service. The location of the bar to the poker room probably helps.
Nate, the poker room manager is 1st class. He is very friendly and has a great attitude. He gives players a reason to come back. I was given a meal voucher each night that my session was over. And giving back players money through the high hand bonuses keeps me coming back.
High hand jackpots are great, and they don't skimp on giving meal vouchers if you ask. First rate room.
