Great action! Yea the rake is high but if you're a good player you will crush here. If you play passive, then the rake will eat you alive for sure so if you're going to go here, be prepared to play some more hands or you will never beat the rake. I read in one of the comments that someone claims they were charged a 35% fee to cash out. That is a blatant lie. First of all that's illegal, and in what world would the casino try to tell you that you owe them some of your chips? They don't know if you've won or lost, so that doesn't make any sense. Some of the dealers are good, some are very inexperienced and don't know the rules of the table which can be frustrating but that's no different from Rama or Port. It's 100% the best room in Ontario, it's open 24/7 and always has games running. In terms of food and drinks it's the same as any other casino in Ontario; paid drinks until 2am and no food at the table (at least I've never seen someone with food at the table). I've heard they offer massages but I haven't seen it so I'm not sure about that either. Overall it's the best poker room we've had in Ontario in the past decade for sure so don't let all the people who all gave it one star after the first day it opened deter you. I usually play late at night so the wait hasn't been an issue for me but if you go during peak hours, there is no call in list so I would imagine the wait will be ridiculous unless you get there early. As far as promos and comps go, I don't think they have any... maybe they do? But no one has ever asked me if I had a player's card so I'm assuming that's because they don't offer anything.
