Played last night and the casino was kind of dumpy but fine. Just waited 2 hours (not exaggerating) for a table today (Tuesday evening). They had a big high hand promotion going on. Finally my name got called and I immediately asked them to lock the seat up. Went straight to the cage, which only had 2 employees working on "the busiest night of the month", so it took 5 minutes or so to get through the line to buy chips. By the time I got to my seat they had already given my seat to someone else (assuming they gifted it to some dusty reg they knew).
Absolute @#$% @#$% and I've never had it happen before. The guy who I asked to lock my seat up had the balls to say "You took too long. You were too slow" and the floor person just let that dumb @#$% slide. Didn't tell the guy to shut the @#$% up and stop being incompetent.
Floor apologized for giving the seat up, said he'd "make it right," and then disappeared and didn't come back. Left me waiting at the counter like a peasant. I cashed my chips out and left. Wasted 2 hours of my life because they couldn't give me 5 minutes to buy chips from their understaffed cage. Would recommend out-of-towners like myself to take their money elsewhere. This room is unprofessional and understaffed.
