Today I played 1/2 PLO. They began a new time rake structure which has you paying 10 per seat "every time they announce it" which was every time a new table started. In the hour I played plo they called the time rake 3 times. Once when the table started at 12:20, once at 1 pm, and then again at... 1:30??? I would not mind paying this generally, if the quality of dealers was more consistent. However, the second dealer I played with kept dealing out two cards and calling for someone to start action.... never mind the misdeal and open cards exposed throughout. Thorough waste of time and an expensive waste of time at that. At the third time they called for the time rake, I had seen enough dealer and table antics that I felt that I should leave to avoid paying the 10.
Action was good enough. I tripled up with aces. So if you are willing to pay upwards of 30/hr in seat rake, this is a good place to play PLO.
