Harrah's goes all out to make their players feel at home

I thought this was perhaps one of the most appealing aspects of the poker room. It had something intangible about it, a "vibe" is a good term for it. The rest of the casino seems kind of "yuppie" to me and very cold, but this felt more like a laid-back lounge. There were a couple of TVs with sports on, there were Andy Warhol-esque paintings of poker greats on the wall, and the waitresses were comping litterally every kind of drink.

I stayed in this poker room for about 4 hours from 3am-7am, mostly because no other room on the strip had a $1-$2 NL game at the time. A majority played pretty tight, there were a few maniacs at the table to change things up and keep them interesting. It was semi-difficult to make some money on any hand.

I played in tournaments at both the Plaza and the Sahara, and the Harrah's dealers were far superior. At the Sahara I couldn't tell you how many misdeals, flipped cards, or how many times the dealers "turned and burned" out of turn. The Harrah's dealers were quick, and efficient.

I was excited to finally get my Jaeger Bombs comped fully (seemingly everywhere else I got either the Jaeger or Red Bull comped but not both) but the waitress were not that prompt nor cute.

There were not too many players, but things went smoothly.

I think I already covered this above.
