Harrah's Poker Room April 7, 2005

I liked this room. It is a separate room away from everything so it is quiet. I did not notice anything significant about the chairs or table, so they must be fine. I got a seat right away because they opened a new table.

This room was full of "newbies." I sat down when they opened a new table, and out of 10 people, 5 asked about the betting structure and how the table ran. I thought at first they were joking, but it was for real. I think this was the first time at a poker table for most of them. I cleaned house. I would have made a lot more money, but I thought because they were such bad players, I started playing 8-9 unsuited and 10-8 suited (cards I usually don't play) and got in trouble with them.

One dealer was nasty. He made derogatory comments because no one was tipping. The new people did not know you tip the dealer when you win, and the dealer keeps this money, and does not split it with anyone. I thought he could have been a little more tactful when he mentiond not getting tipped. All the other dealers were competent and personable.

I had to ask for a waitress a couple of times. The waitress we had was slow, but attractive. I rather have ugly and get my drink on time.

Never really interacted much with management, good or bad.

If there were any, no one told me about it.
