After playing at Ameristar, North KC Harrahs, and Hollywood, I would definitely say that Hollywood has the best poker room in the area. Cash games are always going and with various limits. 1/3 NL is always going, and usually a 2/5 game is running. Their Monday tournament is a very good tournament but I don't think the structure allows for very much play. You get 10,000 in chips but the blinds move every 20 minutes and at pretty steep increments. Drink service is normal and I believe you get $1/hr in comps while playing cash games.
