I played the 5/5 No-Limit Hold’em game at Hollywood Park Casino, and my experience was extremely disappointing.
During the game, I felt that certain players were working together and using questionable, unsportsmanlike tactics at the table. The atmosphere did not feel fair or professionally managed. What made it worse was that when the situation needed staff attention, the floor person did not handle it in a neutral or transparent way. Instead, it felt like the floor was protecting or siding with the same players rather than making sure the game was fair for everyone.
For a poker room, trust is everything. Players need to feel that the rules are enforced equally and that management will take concerns seriously. Based on my experience, I did not feel that way here.
