Hollywood has a pretty nice little $1-$2 room, 3 or 4 or 5 tables going much of the time and occasionally they run tables overnight, and on weekends they spread a $2-$5. Fair players, reasonable action, free soft drinks, free donuts before 7AM one morning.
Snide dealers, slow dealing, but the frosting on the cake is their penalties for pretty much everything. Dealer looks at you and says action, you act, you sit out 3 hands if they say they were looking at someone else. Fold out of turn, 3 hands. Etc. They somehow think this makes then a strong room, but the supervisors have no idea of TDA - they use a standard of 'best interests of the game' which reads locals rule. Anyway, just a little room, trying to look like something bigger and failing.
