I have been playing here for almost a year. After played most if not all member based club in Texas this is the best running and managed poker club. David, June and Mike are very good people taking care of all players. I have read all the reviews here, most of the haters are probably players not playing by the rule and was pointed out by the owner.
House players here are to help set up the game and help players quickly seat at the game they prefer. I personally sometimes had to wait for a relatively long time before sit on my preferred game in another club on westheimer road. I am a long term winning grinder, trust me I can tell some owners will win if they choose to play more. But they just help other players sit at the table faster.
No place is perfect, the kitchen has some problems in this club. Some dealers are not professional and needs more training before they should be allowed to deal big games, this problem is across the whole Texas I believe because we are not Vegas. Brushes are slow in general while some brush girls like to chat with each other instead of focus on tables in need. I know the owners and management are working on these issues.
I really appreciate that I have such a reasonably raked poker club near me to play with. I don't have to go UG or drive to lake Charles. Houstonian poker players, compare this one with the other 2 previously successful clubs and UG games, we should all be grateful for 52 owners have done for us. I wish nothing but the best for this club.
