I made the mistake of trying this room out the other night. The massive pile of cigarette butts just outside the door should have been my first clue. However, I went in and played the tournament. The dealers were borderline at best. There was another player who was hacking like she had tuberculosis. The players are allowed to smoke just outside the door with the door wide open. When the door opens or is left open, arctic wind comes blasting into the room. A vast majority of the other players and the dealers smelled like weed. Players are allowed to use their phones at the table and several hands were held up because the player to act was on a call and the dealer did nothing about it.
There was a cash game going and the dealer held up one hand because a player tried to go outside (actually stand in the open doorway) smoking. I heard the players at that table complaining and the dealer told them the smoker does that all the time. It apparently is allowed if you are a regular.
At my table, the dealer allowed another player (a regular) to retrieve her cards from the muck, which caused the other player in the hand to call the floor. The floor just gave the player a warning, but let her hand play. I was out of the hand, but I have never seen anything like that.
The interior of the room was in disrepair and totally filthy. I don't know how this place stays in business with the Gun Lake Casino being 20 minutes away.
