when pokernews wrote the article "What Are the Best Poker Rooms in Texas?" and didnt mention Legends, i was surprised. the best plo room in texas and pokernews completely ignored it! then after the drive-by shooting pokernews didnt waste any time writing about it, even enhancing the article with the pictures of ppl ducked under the table, the cracked tv screen, and a bullet hole on the wall.
then i read some reviews here and it's open season on Legends; people spewing lies, hate, and hyperboles.
First, let me just say kudos to David for his quick response (Just like he remodeled the bathroom to make it bigger asap). He upgraded the security team. The building is more well lit at night; and more security guards patrolling outside. Legends has already bullet proofed the smoking area outside and is now working on bulletproofing the building.
And that's good because for me safety is by far the most important aspect of going to a card room to play poker. I appreciate the management team taking this incident very seriously.
When Legends first opened, there was only one convenient store on the corner of the plaza. Due to Legends bringing lots of people to the cardroom several businesses opened up. David has improved and revitalized the whole plaza. Legends has basically turned what used to be an abandoned shopping center into a viable business center. People should commend him for saving this area.
