Nice poker room with friendly, competent staff. i've played several sessions since they opened and you couldn't ask for more friendly and considerate staff. They cater in food from local restaurants around 9pm each night for free and non alcoholic beverages and snacks are available for a small price. i was disappointed with the hourly charge but some checking around showed me it was typical. They do offer a small discount if you purchase blocks of 5 hours. In the 1/3 game the straddles and bomb pots make the effective BB $5-$7 on average rather than $3. At that table most folks are buying in for about $300. Typical pot averages $70-$80 but will go to $500-$600 if 2 or 3 players all hit on a hand. I'm new enough to poker that i really can't comment much on the typical level of competition. They open at 6pm nightly but it's not unusual for it to be 9pm or later to have enough folks to play 5 handed. if you looking for a game in the Lexington area you should give it a try.
