As other reviews have said, Mad River is the best poker club in Ohio. On Mondays they run everything from 10/20 HORSE to 1/2 NL. PLO every night, tournaments every night. Tuesday is a true free roll $0 for 25k, $5 D/A for additional 10k. Rebuys $20, up to 4 at once, end of Registration optional $40 add-on for 100k. Dealers are always on top of it, rules are always executed without bias, and security is top-notch as well. No alcohol in the poker room, but there is a bar in the same strip mall. Decent selection of snacks, free pop and water, can order in food too of course. The regular player pool is genuinely made up of nice people, the games have good action, and there is no rake, but there is a $10/hr seat fee and a daily membership fee of $5, monthly memberships are $30 and annuals are $300. The number 1 thing that sets them apart is every time a dealer shifts out, they go around the whole poker room and ask every table if anyone needs any drinks or snacks - sometimes they even roll a cart around with drinks and snacks on them. I love this place and I feel lucky to be in the Dayton area now. I was in Columbus for 7 years and I MUCH prefer Mad River to Shark Tank, Deep Stack, or Hollywood. I also prefer Mad River over Hard Rock cincy. 10/10 check this place out if you're in the Dayton area!
