The room seems fairly new and is in good condition. I'd say it's medium sized. A couple of TVs, but it's right next to the sports book which is full of HUGE screen TVs. Only one table going when I arrived, but it was 9:30 AM Friday so hard to judge.
Only played in the tournament so I don't have a great sense. My table of 10 include a few experienced players, a couple of them pretty good and a few who had never played in a cash tournament before and weren't even sure how to bet.
Kept game moving quickly and willing to explain how the tournament works and the betting structures for newer players. Fairly patient with bettors who bet wrong (too much).
This is the one place on my vacation where I played where I actually noticed the cocktail waitress. Very pretty and offered to get me a drink even though I was just waiting to play.
Since management is in charge of the tournament, I mark them down for it here. They were very polite and quick in getting me signed up and had a printed sheet with the blinds and structure of the tournament. However the tournament is funky. For the first hour (four blind levels), it's a LIMIT tournament. So even if you have great cards and play agressively, you can get sucked out. The reason I like NL tournaments is you can make big raises to avoid this without having to risk real $. On the other hand, it's only $30 to get in, which makes it affordable for novies.
Also the wait list is on paper.
Didn't ask about comps or see jackpots but I only stayed for the tournament. House rake on the tournament is reasonable.
