In my honest opinion, this was probably the worst poker room that I've been to. The place just felt grungy. The chips suck too. The food is surprisingly good. But the feel of this place just is off. When you arrive, it's at one of the old dog tracks, but the place just feels of abandonment unlike Bonita Springs, which kind of turned their place into a sports venue. When you first walk in there, you gotta take the elevators. There are no signs for this so I walked all through the first floor before finally asking someone where the poker room was. They must have allowed smoking in there at some point in time because the air just feels and smells stagnant. The waitstaff, the dealers, and the management are all really good, they just need a good poker room. But if you're in Melbourne, this is what you got. The tables are absolutely huge probably accommodated 10 people at some point but it gives you a lot of space, felt bad for the dealers, should've brought them a little rake to help scoop pots.
