I loved the look of the room, had a "cool" feeling. It didn't seem as formal as casinos I've been to. Which being in my mid 20s I really liked.
I've been playing poker a good amount in the 5 years I've been playing, have a decent collection of poker books, and consider myself a decent poker player(like alot people probably think). I played the lower no-limit tables and found most people were either tourists looking for fun or just an average player. If you play a solid game, can easily turn a nice profit there.
Dealers seemed pretty decent, didnt have any problems that I can recall.
The waitresses were definitely quick to get drinks. I didn't think there were that many tables at MGM (at least from poker rooms I usually play at back in Minnesota) but there were definitely a good amount of waitresses running around to cover the tables constantly.
Management was friendly and on top of things. One of friends who I went with was acting pretty stupid at the table(had a few too many) and it didn't take too long for them to remove him.
Not completely sure but I can't think of any comps... they probably had a card you could give to the dealer and get points but not sure. Don't remember any jackpots either.... dont take my word on these though
