The room quality is good, however, I am not a fan of the marble ring around the edge of the felt. Also the noise from the Centrifuge Lounge can be overbearing. Late night when the lounge closes is quiter and a welcomed break from the noise. Some of the tables and chairs are showing wear and tear, with small tears on the table edges, and stains on the seats of the chairs.
I mostly played at the 2/5 NL game, and on several occations there were players who had obviuosly never, or very seldom played live poker before. Some of these players were willing to re-buy several times over a few hours. There are some local regulars at each 2/5 game. From what I could see, 1 to 2 per table.
There are a few very efficient and compotent dealers working here. Bobby and Devon top the list, with most of the rest being above average. I did not run into any poor dealers during my visit. All dealers were quite, professional, and courteuos.
There are several very attractive, and efficient waitresses, and some who just plain sucked - they were rude, messed up orders, took too long to come around - every late night when there were only a hand full of tables for them to service.
The management were professional, and knowledgable. In one case there was a question that arose that the floor supervisor did not have an answer for. He did not rest until he sourced out the answer and returned to inform the table
The standard $1 per hour. But there is no max $ per day, so if you are inclined to long sessions, the dollars can rack up. I also took advantage of the $40 discount on my room rate. In order to get this discount you have to play 4 hours per day, and talk to the floor manager before you check out. They will contact the hotel desk and reduce your room bill. Another nice feature of the room is the rake. On the 2/5 game the make rake is $4, which doesn't kick in until the pot reaches $150.
