Just back from a week of cash mostly 1-2 NLH at MGM Grand. Enjoyed every bit of it. Bad beats included ... not lol.
Firstly I have to report the seating chairs in the room are terrible!! Come on MGM these definitely need upgrading. The play in the room was pretty good tbh. A lot of locals but all very friendly. Service was good and dealers same. One dealer Erika and partner Ray are legends, he even went out his way to purchase my fav Cheetos on my last night. Very thoughtful.
Comp is $2 per hour which is ok, the promos are okish but stop very early and I think should run later into night. The buy in for 1-2 has no cap so u could sit down with 1000$ or whatever and blow smaller stacks out the water which some locals do.
I would cap the max buyin to $500 to give everyone fair play.
Overall experience was good.
