A nice big room next to the lounge act. Lots of space, and many many tables and active games make this a good place to go day or night to find a game. The tables were nice as well.
I felt the competition here was fairly tough compared to the other places I have played in Las Vegas. While the enormous size of the poker room here is what I would expect for the largest Casino in Las Vegas, it was not full of the easy players I would expect. There seemed to be a lot of locals here (I played on a Saturday night) that were waiting for the fish to some swimming in. In my opinion, it makes sense to seek out the smaller venues as the larger venues are full of local sharks, even at the lower limits.
Although I was here for a short time, but I saw a number of dealer misreads which were caught by the players. So I have to say watch the dealers here.
Average cocktail service. About on par for a larger poker room. Slower service from waitresses who are used to the $5 tokes they normally get from the BJ or craps tables. Since they don't get these in the poker room, I can't imagine they were too happy and it came through.
They took my name and put it on their computerized board. Nothing about that stands out on the scale of above or below average.
NA. I didn't participate in the comps and didn't investigate the jackpots, so I can't really rate them.
